I still can't believe I took them out but I did cause they were getting sooo flyawayey!Any way with the help of my AG doll brush and a lots of water mist and little bit of knack-WHALLLAAA!-prefecto Indian braids!they look EXACTLY the way they come when I got Kaya from AG!I am soo pleased and just wanted to share my victory with you all! Yay! That was quite a task because I did the same thing with my daughter's Kaya too. We're both glad she took the braids out for a bit though. Kaya looks gorgeous with her hair down and it's fun to style. Congrats to you!

Congratulations! I don't plan to take Kaya's hair out (unless I need to) because she was an MCM doll, so her ends are already very frayed, but I love her hair because I don't have to worry about it getting messed up--it already is!
I did an "operation" on Elizabeth's hair yesterday. It got snagged and was in great need of fixing. Using two pairs of hands, the brush, and a spray bottle, it turned out perfectly. Her side curls even look better.

Good for you! My sister has Kaya and her braids are quite a hassle.
Yesterday I redid my Addy's hair for the first time because it was getting quite messy, and I too was pleased with how it turned out. Although I did have Emily's great instructions for help.

Congrats to both of you for redoing your dolls hair
I've redone Josefina's braid lots, but it still is nerve racking
